Attention all scholars, assemble your team. It’s time to put your thinking caps on and join us for the ultimate academic showdown! We are excited to invite you to the World Scholar’s Cup competition at Panyaden International School.
The World Scholar’s Cup is an international academic tournament that challenges students to showcase their knowledge, creativity, and critical thinking skills. This year’s competition promises to be even bigger and better than before, with participants from all around the region coming together to compete in a variety of exciting events.
Whether you’re a science whiz, a history buff, a literature aficionado, a lover of alpacas or just someone who loves to learn, there’s something for everyone in the World Scholar’s Cup. You’ll have the chance to engage in stimulating debates, tackle challenging quizzes, and even showcase your artistic talents.
When and where?
May 13 and 14, 2023 (exact timings to be confirmed)
At Panyaden International School, Chiang Mai, Thailand
Who?
– In teams of three. Eligible are all school students born on or after January 1, 2009.
– Registrations of student teams can either be organised through their school or can be independently organised.
How much?
Early Bird Fee: THB 4000 per student (if registered before May 6)

Students who qualify in the Chiang Mai Regional Round will receive an invitation to attend any one of the Global Rounds. Global Rounds this year will be held in Bangkok, London, Seoul, Xiamen and Doha. Qualifying in a Global Round will earn the students an invitation to the Tournament of Champions at Yale University.
